Founded in 1991, Taos Industries is in the business of supporting the U.S. government and its allies by providing global procurement services for commercial and military spare parts and systems. We specialize in the procurement of military systems and equipment and spare parts of foreign origin. Taos provides complete procurement services for its customers from the identification of qualified foreign manufacturers and sources of supply, to contracting, financing, quality assurance, inspection, packaging, safety certification and shipping.

Taos Industries was acquired by then PWC Logistics, Defense and Government Services now Agility, Defense and Government Services on September 27, 2006. The aquisition provides Taos access to Agility's world wide transportation and distribution network.
Taos Industries is located in Madison, Alabama in close proximity to the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, U.S. Army Space and Strategic Defense Command, NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center and Redstone Arsenal. These government activities are support by one of the largest concentrations of engineering and technical talents in the nation.
In addition to our offices in Alabama, Taos has offices in Baghdad, Iraq; Kiev, Ukraine; Sophia, Bulgaria; and Eglin AFB, Florida. Our staff of 34 employees is uniquely qualified for the demanding, international business we perform. Some 55% have lived and worked overseas and are fluent in Russian, Ukrainian, French, or Spanish. With a combined total of over 70 years of U.S. military service, our staff has a strong understanding of our military customers and the equipment they use. More than 50% of the staff holds degrees, or degree equivalents, in a business or technical discipline.
Most of our program managers and key support personnel have served in armed forces, many in combat zones. We understand how important it is to our military men and women that supplies arrive when they are needed, where they are needed, in the right quantity, and in excellent condition.
