Ensure an effective fire protection program and fire prevention program at Morón AB, Spain IAW DoDI 6055.6, DoDI 6055.6-M, AFI 32-2001, USAFE Supplements, and all applicable National Fire Protection Association standards (NFPA) and AFCESA NFPA Technical Implementation Guides. Plan fire and rescue operations to ensure adequate response.  Provide efficient and effective emergency response.  Minimize loss of life and property.  Dispatch emergency vehicles in a timely manner to minimize loss of life and property.  Ensure Fire fighting vehicles and equipment and  Fire extinguishers are operational and available.

Shall be able to act for the Fire Chief during his absence.

Shall become familiar with applicable host nation and USAF environmental regulations.  Shall have knowledge of OSHA regulations and USAF safety directives and NFPA Standards.
