Taos Industries is an active supporter of nation building efforts for the allies of the United States government. We provide a full array of equipment, supplies, and personal protection gear to the most demanding war zone areas. From local Afghani and Iraqi police forces to special security teams guarding oil pipelines, we provide everything needed to successfully perform their mission. Taos has multi-year contracts with the U.S. Government supporting the security forces in both of these countries.
The security forces in the current war zone areas predominantly require equipment to be of East European origin. Our strong supply base in the United States and Europe allows Taos to acquire the most competitive pricing for existing stock and new production requirements. Taos has shipped from fourteen different countries in order to best meet the needs of our customers. Taos has established offices in Bulgaria and the Ukraine to assist in our contracting and procurement needs. Our staff includes multilingual employees who are fluent in Russian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Spanish, and English. Taos also works with U.S. Embassies throughout our foreign supply base for assistance with exporting and compliance documentation.
Taos provides excellent technical expertise with all weapon system requirements. We designed an Iraqi special forces weapon comprised of a rifle with interchangeable day and night sights. This unique weapon provides state of the art technology for our partners in ensuring peace. Taos has also worked with domestic suppliers in developing non-lethal signaling and marking devices for special requirements.
