Huntsville, Ala., June 22, 2009 – Taos Industries, a leading supplier of integrated logistics and procurement services, won a $30.2 million contract awarded by the U.S. Army Sustainment Command. The contract calls for Taos to procure and deliver military equipment to the government of the Republic of Iraq and to the U.S. Marine Corps. The contract has one base year and a one-year option. Taos has supplied military equipment to the Republic of Iraq in support of U.S. government contracts since 2003.
Huntsville, Ala., - September 6, 2008 - Agility Defense & Government Services (DGS) today announced the appointment of retired Army Lt. Gen. Joseph M. Cosumano Jr. as president and CEO of its Taos Industries subsidiary. Cosumano succeeds John Hamilton, who becomes chief operating officer at Taos under a company restructuring. Huntsville, Ala., - August 25, 2008 - Taos Industries along with the Agility Defense and Government Services (DGS) Team won a contract to store, distribute and maintain equipment for the U.S. Marine Corps at 15 bases within the United States and five others around the world. The one-year contract includes six one-year options and is worth up to $140 million over seven years. The contract, known as the U.S. Marine Corps Consolidated Storage Program (CSP), was awarded by the Marine Corps Logistics Command.
Columbus, Ohio., - August 6, 2008 - Blue Chip Manufacturing & Sales and Taos Industries, a subsidiary of Agility Defense & Government Services (DGS), today formalized a Small Business Administration (SBA) agreement intended to help them compete jointly for federal contracts. Blue Chip, a specialized manufacturing company based in Columbus, entered into an SBA Mentor-Protégé Agreement with Taos, which will provide Blue Chip with technical and managerial assistance.
Huntsville, Ala., - April 22, 2008 - Taos Industries, Inc., a subsidiary of Agility
Defense & Government Services, teamed with DynCorp International and CH2M Hill has
been selected by The U.S. Army Sustainment Command to provide logistics support to
the U.S. Army under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) IV contract.
The LOGCAP IV program provides global, multi-functional contingency logistics support
to the U.S. Army and other U.S. Government agencies as required. The LOGCAP IV
contract has a term of up to 10 years and a potential annual value of $5 Billion in gross
revenue.
Madison, Ala., - November 29, 2007. Taos Industries, a subsidiary of Agility, Defense and Government Services, Inc in Alexandria Virginia has been awarded a contract by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for the recovery and disposal of excess Department of Defense property and material in Iraq and Afghanistan. Under this contract Taos and will assume full responsibility for the operation of five Defense Reutilization and Marketing Offices (DRMOs) in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. . The five-year contract has a potential value of over $97 million.
